I am Audrey Smith, and I am the artist behind The Doll Maker 2 Nursery and Boutique. I do all the painting and rooting, I sew the bodies, and I also sew many of the clothing items you will receive with your baby. I am a retired R.N. with many years of hospital experience, so I have first hand knowledge of what babies look like. (Or at least what they SHOULD look like.)

My husband Al does all the financial and paperwork for the business. He is my rock and I am so blessed to have him. We are a specialized business dedicated to making the most realistic newborn babies and doing it exactly as you want! Our babies are made with love, and many customers claim they feel that love when they hold the babies. Together we have built The Dollmaker2 Nursery to a trusted business with a very loyal customer base.

The Dollmaker2 Nursery started about 5 years ago with two friends enchanted with the reborn babies. We started out finishing the kits and selling them on eBay. Many of you purchased the reborn babies from us as DOLLMAKERS2. More recently I have been doing the artwork myself as my friend had to move to another state and I remained here.

Visit the Nursery to see a variety of babies of all sizes, ages, colors , genders and ethnicities that I have previously made. I can do custom portrait babies from your baby photos, and I can produce fantasy or fairy babies as you like. I can even do Vampire babies or Avatar babies, and character babies of all kinds.

I also make beautiful hand made baby items for yor reborn or for your live baby. All patterns used will fit the dolls or real babies and all items are made by me in my smoke free studio here in North Carolina.
